May have been asleep at the wheel, but use to have a “Green” colored padlock icon in the address bar prior to firefox ver 100.  I know firefox did away with that awhile back, but it was able to be restored via a config tweak from true to false.

I checked and still have the tweak setting, but no longer a green colored padlock.

    Is the capability now gone?

Yes, that’s the one (I should have specified in the original post).

Back when, I changed the setting from True to False and got the green colored padlock back.

I checked under ver 100.0 and the setting option is still there, it is still False, but padlock is no longer green color.

Did Firefox take away the option or move it elsewhere?

I have Firefox 101.0b6; default padlock color is gray. It works for me and I ain’t gonna change it.

I tried this –  security.secure_connection_icon_color_gray  on FF 100 and it would not save as False.  So it looks like we’re stuck with plain old boring grey.  I also prefer Color TV to the old Black and White.
