Retrieve Office 2010 key from old disk?

Recently upgraded Win 7 Pro 64-bit system to reside on an SSD, requiring complete system rebuild. To reinstall the Office 2010 setup I purchased last summer from the MS online store, I had expected to retrieve the key from the store. To my surprise the store showed only my earlier trial downloads but not the purchase I made under the same login. Is there a utility to retrieve the paid-for key from the old C: drive hard disk, which remains as it was when I removed it? I’m concerned any utility might function only on a “live” working disk.
