I recently started having a problem running reports that up until a few days ago ran fine. Whenever I run a report I get a brief hour glass and the the mouse arrow returns but no report ever shows up. I also can’t open it in design view either. I compacted and repaired. I also created a blank database and imported all of the objects into the new database. Others using this database do not get this problem. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried Help | Detect and Repair…?

No and I will, but just realized I can’t print any reports in any database.

Do you still have a default printer in Windows? I don’t think Access will open/print reports if there is no default printer.

Otherwise, it would seem that there is something wrong with your installation of Access, so Help | Detect and Repair would be a logical step to take.

            Thanks,

I changed my default and it started working. Strange though, I can print to the other netwok printer just fine for everything else but ACCESS Reports.

What happens if you change the default back to the other network printer? Do reports become inaccessible again?

Yes, that is correct. It seems though that it is associated with one network printer. I have a total of three printers available, however only two of the three allow me to print from Access. I can print to all three with any other software.
