This can’t be too terribly difficult, but it’s sure driving me nuts.

I’m trying to get the report to generate a separate page for each account (txtCustomerNoText) and it does do that. However, I’m getting a second page for each account that has the Page Header info (no data) after every page printed for each account. I have attached the design view of the report showing where the page break is.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Don’t use a page break for this. Play around with the Force New Page property of the group header or footer section; you can set this property to force a new page before, after, or before and after the section (or not at all, of course).

Force New Page (before) works perfectly. I never even noticed those Header properties before. Searching help under Page Break doesn’t help much when that’s not the help you need. Another lesson learned. Thanks!!

I have a situation that differs from Bryan’s in one respect. My report has 11 groups, some longer than others. Group 6 covers about a page and a half, while others are short enough to fit two or more on one page. My problem is with group headers. Take Group 5, e.g.–it starts on page 2 and continues on page 3. I want the group header to repeat itself on the continuing page. About a year ago, I wrote about this same thing for a similar project, and someone gave me the solution (I’d like to find that post, but you know…the search thing). I’ve looked at what I did a year ago, but I can’t get it to work with this project. It has something to do with a pair of invisible text boxes placed in the group header.

I don’t want to “force a new page” before or after every section. I’ve tried that, and I get some pages with just three or four lines and no header.

To get the Header to show on second and subsequent pages of the group, set the Repeat Section property to Yes.
