    Good morning all,

Attached is a print screen of an Access 2007 report. I am trying to resize the text box but the label gets resized also. How can I break the connection to work on these independently? As always, thanks in advance.

Does the following work in Access 2007?

      – Select the label.
      – Press Ctrl+X to cut it.
      – Click on the Page Header bar or in an empty part of the page header.
      – Press Ctrl+V to paste the label.
      – Drag it to the desired position.

Unfortunately, this did not work. The label and the text box are somehow connected and I can’t figure out how to disconnect them.

Does it help if you select the controls, then click the Remove button on the Arrange tab of the ribbon? This will not delete the controls, but remove them from the Layout, i.e. the set of controls that Access tries to be smart about.

That did it, Hans. Thanks a bunch.
