Currently when using the “reply to all” function, the attachment is removed. How can I retain the attachments when replying?

Replies

Instead of Reply to All, click Forward (and, if you wish, change Re: in the subject to Fw:). You’ll have to copy the recipients from the original message.

(in general, it makes little sense to include attachments in a reply, since the recipients already have the attachments)

We are currently using that as a work around, but we’re looking for the actual functionality to work in “reply to all.” Is it available?

There is no built-in setting for this. It would be possible to create a macro that opens a reply to the currently open message with attachments included – see for example OutlookCode.com :: Outlook Code Samples :: Basic Outlook :: Reply with Attachments (uses other code from that site)
