• Removing Signatures (2003)

When I try to remove signatures in Outlook 2003, I find that they return when I restart my computer. I go to the Signature setting in Mail Format, remove the signatures without problem. They do not show up as long as I stayed logged on to the computer. If I leave Outlook and then restart it, they are still removed. When I restart my computer the removed signatures are back. On an Exchange server.
How can I permanently remove signatures so they do not return whenI restart my system? Thanks.

Hmm. I don’t plan to test this on your behalf, but you could delete or rename the files in “C:Documents and SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftSignatures”.

From your post, it appears that you’re system is connected on an Intranet (“On an Exchange server”). I’d ask your IT people to delete the signature files from your centrally-stored profile.
