Removing Leading Zeros (2K )

I have a mailmerge document that contains an application number with leading zeros. Is it possible to format this field so that the leading zeros are removed.

eg 000255555 will be printed as 255555

Replies

Try the following:
– Click anywhere in the merge field.
– Press Shift+F9 to show field codes.
– You should see something like { MERGEFIELD Fieldname }
– Insert # 0 before the closing bracket.
– The field should now look like { MERGEFIELD Fieldname # 0 }
– Press F9 to hide the field codes and update the field.
