ABC Now (a programme for listening to Aussie radio) installed an ‘Uninstall’ programme on my pc but it don’t work! Its the only one … other programmes can be managed OK so its not me! Apparantly I do not have high enough Administration access but I am the Admin and I operate this way on my one and only home pc!
Anyone know how to gain access to this Uninstall programme facility so I can get the often failing programme out of my pc?

If you can locate the actual uninstaller .exe file (in Windows Explorer), right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.

Ron, it looks like you are trying to uninstall the uninstaller program using Control Panel > Programs and Features. I think you really want to run the uninstall application. You will probably find it in Start > All Programs. As John suggests, you may have to run it as Administrator.

      Cheers,

Thanks for your advice alle sammen.

Yep, I was trying to remove the remover in Control Panel and not run it. I assumed that was the thing to do to delete the total software of ABC Now … now I know better!

Most self uninstall programs will remove the desired program and the uninstall program. Hope all well for on this one.
