Whilst building my new machine, I had to reallocate some drive letters and noticed that both A and B were available. Is there any reason why one/either/both of these could be allocated to DVR-ROM’s, etc.

I know that windows sometimes creates a virtual A drive

I use both those drive letters for logical drives; I don’t have a floppy drive. I haven’t tried optical drives.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
