For several weeks, the Windows 10 Reliability Monitor ( Family, 64 bits, v1909, version 18363.836 ) no longer displays any information ( Reviews, Warnings, Information ). Only the graphic line is displayed. The posting reports show nothing. Where is the information? Thank you for your help. Regards.

AskWoody MVPMay 19, 2020 at 6:31 pm #2264200If you’ve deleted event logs then that shouldn’t stop new events (like Windows Defender updates) from appearing afterwards in the Reliability Monitor GUI.
As this has happened several weeks ago it sounds more like corruption of the Reliability Analysis mechanism (which includes collection of the logs – by wevtutil.exe – stored in folders that, by default, Windows hides from you).
If so then you can ‘reset’ collection of the data using a script. Note that this will delete all logs but should force the Reliability Monitor display mechanism to kick in again so, essentially, you start again.
Try the following section: Reset Reliability Monitor in Windows 10

AskWoody LoungerMay 19, 2020 at 9:51 pm #2264249Hadn’t ever heard of reliability Monitor before so thank you for pointing it out! Some don’t like that I pointed out the outdated article but I think there are folks out there that would click on the adware come-on and not check what it is before dl ing it. So I try to think how to help those who may not know any more than I did 20 minutes ago!.
Thnx!

AskWoody LoungerMay 27, 2020 at 4:56 am #2266359These are installed adapters, it is OK to have more than one. Your physical network card should be Realtek chip.
If you for example work with virtual machnies (VMware, Hyper-V) it can create more network adapters (depending on your preferences). See my screenshot. They correspond to my networks (second screenshot).Intel Pro set/wireless configure service has stopped
These messages are processes on the background, so you may not notice. If you go to computer management and look into logs, you will find, that there can be lots of these stuff.
I go to windows logs regullary to check users problems (if there is any) and I try to realize whats happened and troubleshoot it.Dell Latitude 3420, Intel Core i7 @ 2.8 GHz, 16GB RAM, W10 22H2 Enterprise

AskWoody LoungerMay 20, 2020 at 4:51 am #2264310Hello,
Thanks to all for the replies.
For your information, two small details:
1) The folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\RAC does not exist on my system.
2) The RAC Scheduled Task ( RACAgent ) also does not exist.
Does that seem normal to you?
Otherwise, I did not erase any .log files, except those of Ccleaner.
Maybe I checked “the wrong box”? There are so many with winapp2.ini …..
A little Frenchman who thanks you very much !-

AskWoody LoungerMay 28, 2020 at 2:58 am #2266737My reliability monitor works and I dont have such directory niether, I dont know if there should be, but I dont care since it works anyway..
My bet is thats not the problem. You must have deleted some logs with ccleaner or disk cleanup tool by accident (unintentionally)
OR
your PC is in best shape since ever if you dont have any errors in the log 🙂Dell Latitude 3420, Intel Core i7 @ 2.8 GHz, 16GB RAM, W10 22H2 Enterprise

AskWoody PlusMay 27, 2020 at 4:33 am #2266354Hello,
This little message to inform you that I solved my problem by unchecking the “Windows Log Files” checkbox in CCleaner.
With all my thanks for your help.
Very cordially.I advice you to dump Ccleaner (don’t touch anything Avast) and use the portable ccPortable instead.

That still downloads and runs Avast’s CCleaner.
