Periodically I run Microsoft’s RegClean. Literally every time it finds the following two “errors” and corrects them. I can run the program a minute later and it again finds them. Any idea why these should be ongoing “errors”?

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECLASSESQKFilter.ScreenDisplayCurVer]
    @=”{B0CE4CE4-48D7-11D2-8BC3-00C04F86A9E1}”

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECLASSESScreenDisplayProperties.ScreenDisplayPropertiesCurVer]
    @=”{B0C04CE4-48D7-11D2-8BC3-00C04F86A9E1}”

      Howdy DenGar,
I’m just shootin’ in the dark here but, are you running any version of Quicken?? The ” QKFilter.ScreenDisplayCurVer]”
reference could be about a filter for the screen display in the current version (yours) of Quicken.

        Doc,

No Quicken installed on my computer. Thanks, though.

I’ve noticed the same strange behavior with RegClean sometimes, too. I just delete the Registry restore files that RegClean generates and move on to the next crisis!
