I have created several PowerPoint slide shows containing digital photos. They always end up being very large (>100 MB). Yet, I have received slide shows containing 50+ high quality photos that are only 2MB.

Is there an add in, tool or process that will optimize digital photos in a presentation so that they still look good but take up much less space? Is there a better strategy to use when creating the presentation that will minimize the size?

You could try saving the photos as jpg’s? You should also be able to control the DPI of the photo. There is no need for a photo used in a computer presentation to have a DPI higher than 72 – since that is the most a monitor can display anyway. Keep the high DPI versions for print.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
