Here’s the situation. “Mary” created a task and assigned it to me. It was not created as a recurring task. I then became the owner of the task. According to Microsoft’s Help screen, as the owner, I should be able to change a task to a recurring task, using the following directions.

    – Open the task you want to change to a recurring task.
    – On the Actions menu, click Recurrence.

When I click the Actions menu in the task, there is no Recurrence option. There is – grayed out – a Skip Occurrence option.

Anyone have a clue as to what I need to do to make this task assigned to me a recurring task? What am I missing here?

    Many thanks –
