    I read somewhere but cannot now find it anywhere of a way to recover deleted email after you have emptied the deleted items folder but before compacting it. The way to do it basically entails corrupting your pst file so that Outlook rebuilds it when it starts. Obviously you make a backup first then use a hex editor to change a few bytes near the beginning of the file. Does anyone know which bytes to edit to what?
