Hi folks, hope this is the right place to ask these questions.
Back story. I’m at an RV park in rural AZ. Have been paying $50+ for wifi through IEU (ISP)wireless which uses Cox for signal. The park is a coop and we just built are own “Ruckus” system that when measured by walk arounds, shows each lot getting a 2 to 10 Mbps down signal through a system of APs. I am 100+/- feet from the nearest line of sight AP and although my LP shows 3 to 4 bars “General wifi status in Win 10” down speeds are consistently below 500kbps, up speeds are near zero and it drops the signal a lot to return to old ISP, which is still operating. I know I need an antenna and wireless router as I have had to use similar equipment with existing ISP, even with antenna less then 30ft from my window in the RV (NanostationlocoM2 wired into a Netgear router N300, belonging to ISP). I seems I will need something similar for this new set up. I have line of sight view of AP, I am in an RV (fibreglass thin walled body). Recommendations please, for antenna/booster and router or whatever, to supply a signal for internet, LPs, iPad, smartphones. Enough to be able to watch Netflixs and have AppleTV reception. I’ve tried to include info about current IP config and my new PC to see if that helps you folks with ideas one way or another. I hope this makes sense and also my PC and network skills are a little above beginner. Thanks for your help.
