    I’m currently running Windows 10 Pro, 64bit, v. 1909 / 18363.1443  on a Dell Inspiron 3455.

    Almost every time I reboot, the Realtek PCIe GB E network card comes up with an invalid IP address and I have to run the troubleshooter to reset the network adapter. Attached is the most recent report.

    Would appreciate the expertise of this esteemed group to help me try to resolve this recurring headache.

        @b

        the OP is better off downloading & installing the latest Realtek LAN PCIe GBE driver from Realtek’s web site rather than Dell’s web site (the Win10 driver that Dell has for the Inspiron 3455 is v10.019.0627.2017 [Dell has this listed as 2.43.2017.727, A14] – several years old and may not work correctly with recent Win10 versions like v2004)

        the Realtek web site currently has v10.048.0315.2021 of that Realtek LAN GBE driver dated 3/15/2021, which I’m using on both my dad’s Toshiba 2013 laptop and my family’s old Dell Inspiron 620 desktop PC
