Realtek Audio Driver Broken

The problem machine is a Cyberpower PC running Win 10.x build 19042. It’s Asus motherboard has an Intel eight-core i7. Cyberpower PC had in the past recommend getting all the motherboard drivers from Asus. The audio driver file Asus recommends uninstalled OK to try and fix them. But they won’t reinstall and their software throws this error.

Since Asus’s Realtek drivers go wonky and fail once or twice a year, might there be ‘generic’ Windows audio drivers for this application? Thank you!

No sir, I’d not tried them. Thank you much for posting that

After I made the request for help here I’d then telephoned Asus, and told the tech that their recommended audio driver had failed at installation. He e-mailed me copies of two different driver files. I was able to successfully install an earlier/different version of the sound drivers. So now I see this in the Device Manager.

So it’s solved and working. Thank you.
