Can one use a SD card for a Readyboost.
The reason that I would like to use one that is the Thumb drive that I am using now, is small in size but still sticks out from my lap top. When ever I go ‘mobile’ I unplug the thing so I won’t snap it off.
But I have a card reader and if I put a SD card into it, it is flush with the case.

I have a old sd card that I tried but it said readyboost was not available. But I was thinking that maybe it was because it was very old model.
So…. before I go out and buy one, will a new 1 gig SD (or other type card) work as a readyboost?

    Thanks
