I’ve just begun using Word 2003 after using Word 2000 for several years.
One handy feature in Word 2000 for quickly modifying a style is to make the formatting changes in a paragraph, then click directly in the style window and press Enter. A dialog box asks you, “Modify style to reflect current changes?”, you press Enter to accept, and the style is changed.
I tried this in Word 2003 but it didn’t work. The only way I’ve been able to change a style is to go through the routine of Format > Styles and Formatting, and then use the pane that opens on the right to change the style.
Does the quick method still exist in some form in Word 2003?
