Quick Launch Position

Hi all.

I know this probably has a really simple solution, but I’m having trouble getting my Quick Launch toolbar back to where it was. It was originally to the left of the taskbar, next to the Start button; I dragged it to the right so it was next to the System Tray to demonstrate to a colleague that it could be moved but now, no matter what I do, I can’t get it back to the left hand side!

What am I missing?

Do you mean you can’t drag it at all, or that it won’t stick?
Check your taskbar isn’t locked.
Do you have any apps open on the taskbar?
I’ve found it easier in the past to do it in two stages when necessary. First drag it left and down, so that you end up with a double height taskbar, than grab it again, forcing it up into position.

Just changing the bar to double height made it simple.
