    Generally speaking, what file Permissions (should be set; or are set, when a file is created) for “system” files when using the NTFileSystem and W8 ??

      On my W8 box everyone gets read only except “TrustedInstaller” which has full access.

      System has special permissions. See attached screenshot.

      I looked and found that my install of W8Pro set permissions for the Windows; System folder, the System32 folder, and the SysWOW64 folder, as shown in your attached image file above.
