Is there a file viewer / importer for quark qxd files to import them into word esp a macintosh viewer / importer to paste the file into IBM word.
Most of the quark files get from the printer are mac versions.

Do you have the files in Acrobat (PDF) format? If so you can at the very least copy the text.

Without owning Quark which costs big bikkies, Adobe InDesign is a cheaper alternative that can convert Quark files. Now that I think about it, Quark may actually save in Postscript format so you may be able to convert the file with Acrobat or another PS interpreter.

I don’t know of any free Quark file viewers but you may be able to find independent file viewers which can read the text. This is a link to downloads.com for FilePeek which may do an adequate job. I haven’t tested either of these viewers so I can’t vouch for the success you will have.

NOT IDEAL. I only get quark when there is a graphic file from the printer.
        Need some kind of VIEWER
        Thanks

          WHY SHOUT?

Quark released its free QuarkImmedia viewer some years ago, but it hasn’t been updated recently and all download links I found are dead now. Perhaps someone has it, or knows of a site from which it can still be downloaded. If you don’t get a reply here, you might try asking about QuarkImmedia in the Software Finds and Wants forum.
