    Folks,

I am using Retrospect Express Backup 6.0. It works fine for my data drive. But when I use it to backup my C: drive, lots of files are found to be in use and accordingly are not backed up. This seems to be to be a bad thing. If I ever need to restore my system, these files will not be included. Presumably since they are in constant use they are some of the most important ones. What, if anything, do I need to do to properly backup my system?

    Thanks for your help.

Sorry that I can’t specifically answer your question as I don’t use that software. Surely you’d think there’s something in their documentation about how to backup a “boot drive” in Windows XP. Have you tried the Dantz (sp?) web site for FAQs or forums?
