Anyone have information on the progress of phase 2 of the Truecrypt audit?
The last post on what I think is the official web site, http://istruecryptauditedyet.com/, was on April 14th and it only indicates that phase 2 is beginning. Steve Gibson indicates on one of his web pages, https://www.grc.com/misc/truecrypt/truecrypt.htm, that “We should know much more about a trustworthy TrueCrypt in the late summer of 2014”. It is definitely fall now and still no word, at least none that I could find with a Google search. I would think at least a progress report should have been issued by now. Did I just miss it in my search?
Is the audit still progressing and is there a new timeline?
Is anyone overseeing the dispersal of the funds people donated to the project to ensure work continues and is actually being done?
