Programs Open Minimized

When using IE in Windows 7 when I click to send a link by email my email program opens minimized.
In XP it would open full screen…
Is there a setting to get it to open full size?

I’m using Thunderbird.

If you’re using a shortcut, open properties and change ‘Run’ from “Normal” to “”Maximized”.

Try opening your e-mail client program from the source file folder. Then click the upper right corner to make it full screen. Then close it. Now try opening the program from IE. It should open in full screen.

Thanks but that’s not the problem.

I already have Thunderbird open when I am on the internet.

If I decide to email a link I am looking at I choose SEND LINK and the new message with the link opens minimized and I then have to click on it to open it full screen to address it and send it.

With Outlook Express as soon as I selected SEND LINK the new message would open maximized.

I would like the same to happen with Thunderbird in Windows 7..
