I am duplex printing an 8-page booklet in Publisher (HP970CXi printer). From the Print dialogue sheet I can print All or Pages from x to y or Current page. I want to print separate batches of pages 1,2,7 & 8 and 3,4,5 & 6 as they are different weight papers.

It is obvious how to print pages 3 to 6 using Pages from 3 to 6 but how do I tell the printer to print pages 1,2, 7 & 8?

As the print dialogue box in Publisher differs from say Word where you could use 1-2, 7-8 I can only see that printing 1-2 and then 7-8 would be the way. I can’t think why Publisher should differ in this way but I have to tell you that it is the same in XP.

        Sue,

You are a star! But even more so than I thought at first!!.

Entering Print from 1 to 2 results in pages 1, 2, 7 & 8 being printed. That is the solution I was seeking even though I don’t understand why I get the right result.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. {8;-))

Delighted to be of help especially as it was more help than I realised! I was going to test it on XP at home but didn’t have too much time this am.

Together we have contributed something to this fine resource!

          Regards
