Printer Printing during start-up

Recently, I installed Windows 98.
Unfortunately, during the process, it incorrectly recognized by Visioneer Strobe Pro scanner as a printer. After
correcting this, I have a new problem. Each time I boot the computer I get 3 pages of garbage printing to my printer on LP1. It looks like start-up sequences for the scanner so I think there is still an extra driver installed pointing to LP1 but I can’t find it. I wonder if it is in the Registry but I can’t find the reference. Where to look?

Although I wrote “LP1”, I intended “LPT1.” Just to check that I didn’t make the same mistake when I searched the
registry, I searched again using LPT1 and did not find an entry that I could identify as causing the problem. Any other suggestions?

Is the scanner listed in with the printers in the Printers Folder? If it is, perhaps deleting it there will fix things for you other than that I’m afraid I don’t know what else to do
