Printer Install – HP Laserjet 1300

We had the printer mentioned above connected to a computer that is running XP. We purchased a new printer for that station and have tried several times to connect the HP Laserjet 1300 to another computer which is running WIndows 2000. I will get so far along in the installation and then get a message that pops up: “HPZius12.sys on hp cd is needed.” I have browsed on the install cd, the hard drive, the previous computer system, and on hp website and cannot find anything relative to this file. I am sitting here with a printer that won’t let me past this. Help please!

I did try this and there was no file like that anywhere.

In the HP domain I came up with this page that has download AND I see a link for CD ordering. Do you care to take the time (it might take a contact to them)…
