I have some staff using IE 5.5 and other using IE 6. When printing the same webpage, the 5.5 people get all the information but the 6.0 users have part of the page cutoff at the right margin. In print preview it shows the entire page but doesn’t print the entire view. We have tried changing margins but that doesn’t help. Ideas please……. confused

      HI,
A cheap fix is to set your page to landscape instead of portrait. Then you get the whole text.

This doesn’t seem like something that should differ between IE 5.5 and 6. Do the fonts look different in the printouts, or is it just that the margins are different (even if you set them the same)?

The fonts look the same and changing the margins doesn’t help either. I haven’t determined if it’s every web site or just select ones. The page looks good in print preview but doesn’t print the way it looks. Carol

      Hi creser

Have you checked the “Page Setup” for page size?
If the page size is setup wider than your printer paper width, it will preview OK but you will likely experience the print results you describe as the page will be formatted for wider paper.

      Have a Great day!!!

Thanks for the input. I’ll check this with my users. CR
