Print multiple doc’s in a row (All)

Valuable board & members of this community,

does anyone have a trick to print several Word documents into one ‘print’ (optional: with a page break at the end of each doc)? It’s very unlikely, but… you never know.
(The only way I think I could do it, is by automation: create a new doc, insert complete contents of the doc’s needed & print…)
Purpose: saving paper; documents should still be available seperately.

If you’re going to put a page break (or rather new-page section break) at the end of each doc, you don’t save any paper, do you, compared to printing all documents separately? And if you don’t, you’re going to have horrible problems with page layout, headers and footers, page numbering etc. And what about tables of contents, indexes etc.?
This might be more trouble than it’s worth…

Seems similar to this recent thread.

To really save paper, you can buy a little add-on that prints two pages (or more) on one. There probably are free ones, but if none are volunteered, take a look at FinePrint (I use the company’s pdfFactory product, but haven’t tried this one).

If you want to print multiple docs without first opening each one — while in Word, go to file, open and select multiple docs, then right-click and choose print. None will open, all will print to your default printer.

that’s also the way I would do it (btw: the same you can do in Windows Explorer), if I shouldn’t be more demanding . Please have a look at the thread mentioned above by jscher2000, which ‘ll probably help me a lot…

You do NOT need to be in Word, just open Windows Explorer (MY Documents or My Computer) and select the different files and then right click and select Print.

NOTE, this will send the files to be printed to the DEFAULT printer, no chance to select a different printer.
