My kid is getting to the age where I need to put in some protection to prevent her from sending private info in emails (probably messages too soon). Something the overwrites telephone numbers, address details etc. I use Zone Alarm but its myVault feature doesn’t seem able to let me put these locks on her user profile; indeed it seems only able to apply settings to the current user profile and I want to be able to apply locks from my profile that affect her profile and that she cannot override.

Norton used to have this feature (may still have) but I’m not too keen to go back to this processor-slowing package. Does anyone have any experience of other software that will give me what I want?

with Zone Alarm you can password protect each user profile so that they cannot change the settings. Maybe try that?
