Is it possible to prevent autoplay on one drive only?. I have a DVD, CDR, Smart Media reader and Camera drives. I wan’t autoplay on all the drives except the CDR. I’ve selected ‘take no action’ for each content type on the CDR drive but when I insert a CD in this drive a folder view is always automatically displayed despite the fact I’ve ‘told’ this drive not to autoplay anything.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is. Open My Computer (or Windows Explorer) and right-click the icon representing your CDR drive. From pop-up menu choose Properties. On Properties window click AutoPlay tab. For each type of files from drop-down list choose Select an action to perform, No Action. When finish, click Apply, OK.

          Thanks for comments.
If it helps, the reason for preventing folder view appearing is because when I want to burn a CD in the CDR drive, the folder view always comes up when I place the CD in the drive. I have to get rid of folder view before I can access Nero. This happens no matter whether it’s a blank CD or one that has already been written to.
OK, it’s no more than a minor irritation, but annoying!

        smp uk:
Thanks very much, that was the hint I needed. Using Tweakui go to My Computer/Autoplay/Drives and untick the drive you don’t want to AutoPlay. Simple!
