“I think this has been orally photoshopped. I can’t imagine a school actually doing this. I have also heard it before. I think it’s one of those ones that circulate around the internet.”

Awwww! It sounded/looked so good, too, ….

    Makes me think, though.
What if instead of these “National Biscuit Days” we had a “National Gripe Day” where every business was encouraged to replace their standard voice-mail greeting with ten buttons (0-9).
    Mine would read:
Press 1 If you have just realized why I have been urging you to make a backup copy
Press 2 If you need help on a macro you’ve been working on for four months, that is almost working
    Press 3 For free advice

Press 10 (sic!) If you claim to be a techno-idiot.

      Aurally …??

Actually I want to know what the missing ones are (4 – 9) and can I interpret the final one in binary and prove that I am a techno idiot who doesn’t know it?

The lounge isn’t what it used to be.
in the Good old days, by now, 6 attempts would have been made to fill you in, and the thread would now be discussing the impact of soiled beetroot husks on the rabbit population of New Zealand.

No. Why not be a radical and use the base -4 number system?
        That’s right: “base negative four”
