    Hi,

Is there a shortcut key in PPoint to say “Animate this slide”
Problem with F5 is that it jumps right to the start?

Can you expand on your question? Is this when you are starting a presentation? In which case, I’d recommend you look at shows.

      Cheers

        Hi,

For example, when I am in Slide Sorter View & I just want to animate Slide # 13 (tp preview changes made to it).

F5 jumps to the 1st slide, but I just want to see Slide 13 animated.

        Hope that’s a bit clearer.

Select Slide Show | Custom Animation or Slide Show | Slide Transition.
The Task Pane is displayed; at the bottom are two buttons:
          – Play previews the animation in Slide Sorter view itself.
          – Slide Show shows the animation in Slide Show view.

In addition to Hans’s options, there are also 3 small icons in the lower left hand corner of your PPT screen. The one on the right looks like a screen, and if you hover your mouse over it, you’ll see something like “show slide (from current slide).” Click that.
