I’m new to the Word Lounge so my apologies if this ground has previously been covered (a search didn’t uncover anything).

My document is all Portrait (headers, footers, body), except for a few wide tables. For these tables I’d like to switch to Landscape (using section breaks and page setup for the section). The problem is that I’d like the header and footer on these pages to remain in the Portrait orientation. When I put the wide table in its own section and page setup that section as landscape, the header and footer also switch to landscape. Any way to avoid this?

An option that almost works is to leave the table in Portrait orientation and rotate the text in all the cells. The problem here is that I have to rotate my head or my monitor 90

I have a standard form I use that I will attach. I copy entire document then paste in where needed. The “footer” is a text box which, if you want it to be the same information as the portrait pages, copy the portrait pages footer first, go to text box, and I believe that if you triple-click in the text box and press paste your correct info. will come in. It also includes a line (which would be at the top) that can be deleted (a text box also).

      Hope this help.

Here is a Microsoft KB article about that….it’s Q211930, if the link doesn’t work. I haven’t tried it, but it appears to address your issue exactly…

Thank you all for your quick feeback!

It appears that “the solution” is placing a text box in the landscape page’s header, sizing it to look like a portrait header, and rotating its text 90
