Populating Project 98 Text Field From A Combo Box (Project 98)

Let me 1st say that my background is in Access/VBA and I have very little exposure to project. My client would like to have a location field (currently Text1) to be a combo box populated only with valid location names. While this is very simple in Access, I don’t see an obvious way in Project to accomplish this. Can this be done and if so, how?
