A few years ago I had a nifty little program that permitted me to make personal notes on files (unopened) that would pop-up I think on a mouse over (active X? ) but I might have been in the right click menu. Anyway, the notes resembled tool tips or the text representation on a graphic on the net. This was really a good thing.
Now, when I am zipping folders for storage I would like to be able to have a quick list of what is in that zip so, at a later date, I can more quickly find what I am looking for. And I can not find that nifty little program any more.
To put it in a time context for you guys, I think I picked it up around the time I picked up “tree-size” and “send to anywhere” – and they were all new then (I think).
Does anyone know what I am talking about and have it or be able to direct me to where I can retrieve it?
We are currently running Windows 2000 Pro.
TIA for any help you can give me,
