POLi browser hoster security

I’ve come across this new payment system called POLi. I’m very dubious about the security of it, as I don’t know how it works, but it appears to host the bank window in some kind of hosted browser. The lack of technical information on their website (or anywhere else I’ve googled) adds to the obfuscation.

Although they have some association with some larger players, such as Virgin Blue flights.
Does anyone know anything about this? Anyone know how it works? As we say over here “Is It Safe?”.

According to their site, they operate only in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, so this could explain the lack of response to your question. You might need to search around further.
