I am not a Pocket PC user, but received a Word document from a friend who is. The document arrived as a txt document, but has an explanation at the top that says:
* This is a Microsoft Pocket Word document.
*
* To view this Pocket Word document in Microsoft Word, you will need the
* Pocket Word Converter for Microsoft Office. For further details visit
* the Microsoft Windows CE web site, at
*
* http://www.microsoft.com/windowsce
I can’t find anything anywhere on the Microsoft site about a Pocket Word Converter. Is there a reason for that? Is there no such thing any more? I’m using Office 2000 on Win 98.
