• Plus sign (Excel xp)

    How do i format positive numbers with a plus sign + before them. For instance,
    0
    -1
    +3
    -4
    +17
    +2

      For XL2000, probably the same in XP, use a custom Number format, with a “picture pattern”, like that shown here. Easiest to select one of the predefined ones like +#,##0.00;[ red ]-#,##0.00 (bottom of list in attached graphic) and modify to suit, as shown.
