Does anyone know anything about the product Plaxo Contacts (find it at http://www.plaxo.com/%5B/url%5D )? As far as I can tell, the free version integrates with Outlook and/or Outlook Express, updates your contacts (at least the ones you give it) automatically, and allows you to access your contact book from the Internet. It stores your info on a secure web server. They promise not to sell your info, and they say they only leave the cookies they need to for them to provide the service. One of our people has downloaded the software, and he says he did it at the request of a list serv administrator who wanted to be able to keep the addresses up to date automatically. But now he’s having problems printing some of his e-mails. I will be checking with their technical support also, but wondered if anyone here has any knowledge about it.

    Thanks.

Firstly, I resemble the remark in your signature. wink grin

I looked at Plaxo for our company and have two reservations about the service. Firstly that the current ownership may change and thus the philosophy and secondly there is a chance (probably very small) of the site being hacked. We have elected not to use this service.
