PFBackup does not work in Outlook 2010 as part of Office 2010 Pro Plus

I am unable to get pfbackup to work with Outlook 2010. Having installed it and added the required Registry key, I click on Add Ins in Outlook and select Backup, then exit Outlook and instead of the usual pop-up doing the backup, nothing happens.

The Add In is selected as it should be, the registry entry is also as it should be, I have also tried Registering outbak.dll separately and it registers fine, but the backup is still not working.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have uninstalled MS Office Professional Pro and installed MS Office Home & Business, but it behaves exactly the same. pfbackup still doesn’t work!

PFbackup seems to be supported only by Office versions up to Office 2007:

There was a workaround for Office 2010:

P.S.: Seems you have used the workaround. Unfortunately I don’t know what else to recommend.
