PC to Mob Phone Sync

Recently I lost a mobile phone & now have to re enter all contact info again.

Does anyone have any knowledge of any software that can backup a mob phones phonebook to a PC & DL it again if required?

Freeware would be nice if available!!

If you buy a Nokia 3360 (maybe other models as well) Nokia provides a free download called PC41Suite which will back up all your numbers in the phone to a laptop or PDA via infrared or to a PC via cable or infrared. It will also alow you to create custom ringtones as well as let you create a phone list from Outlook then transfer it to a blank phone or update the list in the phone. It can also do a few other things. I use it and it works.

Thanks for that info, but I am in Australia & that model doesn’t appear to be available here.

I have got a lead for the Nokia Data Suite which apparently works with 5110, 6110 & 6150.

If anyone has something, anything, for Motorola StarTac, I’d be grateful. The website wants to sell SmartCell but Startac (ST7760+) series is not listed as supported. (I’m in the US.)

There was a product called FoneSync available from paragon software who were based in Newbury Berks UK, but they appear to have disappeared!
