As the subject implies, I’m looking for a PC-connected CD Duplicator, but with the ability for me to change the drives, as the times progress. I currently have a Primera Composer Pro, but it’s a bit outdated, and attempting to swap the drives looks like a very daunting task (I don’t believe the unit was made to have the drives changed). Any suggestions?

I personally do not use these devices but know two people who recently purchased duplicators in last 2-3 months – both online.
They are DVD Copy Master II with 11 NEC Drive DVD/CD Duplicator from Octave.Com. The general CD/DVD Duplicator Search on this site is here.
The other purchased from TigerDirect.Com the “Kanguru CD Duplicator / 52x CD-R / 12x CD-RW / USB 2.0 / 5-Writers”.
They both seem to be extremely happy with their choices. The first (Copy Master II) is used for a company that teaches at remote locations. They create training disks, computer update disk, etc. My friend tells me he uses approximately 800-1200 disks (CD and DVD combination) every month.
The second (Kanguru CD Duplicator) is used for a company who provides user duplication services . You want wedding movies, pictures, cd’s on one disk then multiple copies – this is what he does. This friend tells me he goes through approximately 150-200 disks per month. Actually, this is his second unit to supplement the other one he has.
Hope this helps !
