Paul McCartney + Ringo Starr + dead John Lennon + AI won a Grammy for the best rock song : Now and Then.

There is a debate whether a song “helped” by AI should get a Grammy. I think it does not.

Another experiment was back in 2000 when one of the first mainstream virtual bands emerged as The Gorillaz, who produced music from the recording studio with cartoon band characters for videos and not performing live until 2018.
I don’t see nor hear any difference using AI.
It’s just a new production method to please aural/ visual senses for the masses, that is too much of a risk by the music industry to let it pass by without embracing the concept.
