    Just got a new lap top with VISTA Premium installed, I always set my computer to “automatic” for upgrades and patches. Now I know better (thanks Woody). My question – using the DEFCON system how long do I wait before applying any of the new stuff. I noticed the recent posting in Woodys DEFCON alerts was February 11th.

      Welcome to Woody’s Lounge!

      Woody always gives the green light just before the next monthly round of patches, so if you wish, you can wait until the beginning of March. Or install them now and see what happens – you can always uninstall them if something goes wrong.
