      Very helpful information, Susan. I have wanted, for a long time, to learn more about Exchange administration.

      Just posting to say I appreciate the head’s up.  Sounds like no critical flaws need patching, which means it’ll eventually get done.

      Of course, as with everything else, I always leave Exchange Cumulative Updates to be tested by other people for 2-3 months before applying. On average, I keep my Exchange servers at least one CU update behind the current version.

      What is really annoying now, though, is that when you run Exchange 2016 now, you need all visual C++ runtimes from 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and now 2013 to be installed… So many outdated dependencies…
