    Hi everybody,

I know this question has probably been asked before but here it goes anyway.

I’m connected to my ISP through a Dial-Up-Netwoking connection using a modem.

I recently installed a small network of 2 computers to test different stuff out.
Since I installed this network, every time I dial to my ISP, windows keeps asking me to enter my DUN password.
Win98 use to remember my password before and now it doesn’t.
I’ve tried activating the password cache within the registry.
I’ve tried to delete my PWL files in case they were corrupted.

I have no clue how to fix this problem.

    Can anybody help ?

    Thanks in advance

Have you checked MSKB Q148925 ?

Note: Depending on how you have the network configured it is possible for the “Network Administrator” to disable password saving for users as a system policy.
