• Partial Signature (Outlook XP)

My boss has lost part of his signature that is added to his emails.

What is missing in the emails is his name which is larger and in a different font from the rest of his signature (company name and address).

When we check the Tools|Options|MailFormatSignatures, the signature is correct. But when he writes an email his name is gone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked whether it makes a difference if the e-mail is in plain text, rich text or HTML format?

Well, when I checked his computer last week, it was on HTML(working on the same problem). The boss said he “restored” the settings and it was working yesterday apparently and then today it isn’t. Boss said he hadn’t changed anything today.

His stationery problem (post 713,192) indicates that he’s been experimenting with the settings…

Most definitely he has been experimenting. And it appears he changes many at one time rather than just one to see what it does. So it does get challenging at times. Luckily he’s a really good boss!
